Printer never stops printing. - Officer tries to print - the printer continues printing until out of paper

It might be worthwhile to check that the proper driver is installed and/or reinstall the Report Beam’s custom printer driver.  Instructions for doing that are attached.  RW420_PrinterDriverInstructions.pdf

Next, check that the font size has been properly set:

  1. Log into Report Beam
  2. Click on ‘File’
  3. Click on ‘Options’
  4. Click on the ‘Preferences’ tab
  5. Check that ‘Enable Auto Size’ is not checked and the default font size is set to “10pt”.

 Next check this:

  1. Log into Report Beam
  2. Click on the ‘Recent’ folder and then double click on a citation to display it
  3. Next, click on the ‘Print’ button (not ‘Quick Print’).  This will display a panel to select which reports and/or page to print.  Doesn’t matter what we select here; leave it at ‘All Reports’.
  4. Click on the “OK” button and you will be taken to the summary screen.
  5. Click on ‘Print’ here and you should see a ‘Select Documents’ screen.
  6. Make sure that the ‘Print to Portable Printer (i.e. Zebra/Printek printer)” option’s radio button is checked.  If one of the others is selected, this may cause erratic behavior on the Zebra printer.

It has been previously reported that the battery eliminator’s ground wire may be disconnected. Double check that there is a good contact.

The problem might be resolved by grounding the battery eliminator.
