What is INTERTEXT and why is it there?

Both the PC based E-Appeal software and the web based E-Appeal software use a text search tool called INTERTEXT.

The INTERTEXT file is generated specifically for each E-Appeal case and serves as the search engine for each case.

The files should not be deleted.  They should also not be taken out of their respective folders.

Upon launching the file, an application will start, which will allow the user to look for key words and phrases within the case contents.
