How does an attorney request a copy of a submitted document on i2File?
The attorney must login at the website
The attorney must have the jurisdiction available.
To do that the attorney will login as above and select CHANGE FILING COUNTY,
Then click on either the button that reads SELECT JURISDICTION, if this is the first time on i2file, or the link that reads SUBSCRIBE TO ADDITIONAL JURISDICTION.
Upon returning to the main menu the attorney would select REQUEST DOCUMENT COPY and
Fill in the screen with as much information as necessary or available. Accompany the request with a clear explanation in the comments screen as necessary and then use the SUBMIT button to enter the request.
The attorney will receive ta TRANSACTION NUMBER. It is important to save this number for future reference.
The attorney may now logout if all transactions have been completed.
Each request requires a separate transaction entry and a separate transaction number will be issued.
